In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host New Haven Rockets basketball team scored a close 45-38 triumph over the Lutheran Northwest Crusaders.

The Rockets (13-10) will now prepare for their contest against Arts & Tech (Pontiac, MI). The go into the non-league contest with a 16-1 record. In their last contest, Arts & Tech nipped Clintondale (Clinton Township, MI), 75-59, in a non-league contest.
