The Phoenix Firebirds ran past the visiting Mt. Markham Mustangs basketball team by a margin of 73-61 in Wednesday's non-league contest.

The Firebirds (17-4) will now prepare for their contest against Skaneateles (Skaneateles, NY). The Lakers go into the non-league contest with a 13-9 record. In their last contest, Skaneateles topped Cazenovia (Cazenovia, NY), 70-40, in a non-league contest.
