The Pelahatchie Chiefs (Pelahatchie, MS) basketball were winner over the visiting North Side Gators (Shelby, MS), 59-49 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Chiefs now possess a 29-2 record. They play next when they travel to Bay Springs for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 1. Pelahatchie will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 45-42 non-league win over Leflore County (Itta Bena, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 27-5.
With the loss, North Side falls to 20-12 on the campaign.
