Franklin Yellowjackets (Stockton, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting River Islands Riptide (Lathrop, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Franklin improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Chavez (Stockton, CA) to encounter the Titans in a test on Monday, March 3. The Titans go into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Riptide now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Escalon for a non-league test on Friday, February 28. River Islands will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Merced (Merced, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 0-1.
