The Verona Hillbillies basketball team scored 50 points and limited the visiting Newark Tech Terries to 26 in the Hillbillies non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Hillbillies now have a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Arts for a non-league game on Saturday, March 1. Verona will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 65-41 non-league win over American History (Newark, NJ). The Jaguars record now stands at 8-4.

With the loss, Newark Tech falls to 4-12 on the campaign.
