In Wednesday's league match, the Edgewood Red Wolves (Merritt Island, FL) lacrosse team overwhelmed the host Merritt Island Mustangs (Merritt Island, FL), by a count of 15-5.

Next up, the Red Wolves confront the Jensen Beach Falcons (Jensen Beach, FL) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 28. Edgewood will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Falcons enter the match with a 4-0 record after their 18-2 league win over South Fork (Stuart, FL).

The Mustangs (0-3) will now prepare for their match against Satellite (Satellite Beach, FL). The Scorpions enter the 1A D8 match with a 4-0 record. In their last match, Satellite defeated Sebastian River (Sebastian, FL), 18-4, in a non-league match.
