Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Columbus Blue Devils (Columbus, GA) and the visiting Northside Patriots (Columbus, GA), saw Columbus's soccer squad knock off Northside by a count of 5-3.
The Blue Devils (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Harris County (Hamilton, GA). The Tigers enter the non-league battle with a 5-0 record. In their last battle, Harris County tipped Troup County (LaGrange, GA), 10-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Patriots confront the Mundy's Mill Tigers (Jonesboro, GA) in a 4A Region 3 battle, on Friday, February 28. Northside will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 6-0 record after their 10-0 non-league win over North Clayton (College Park, GA).
