The South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC) baseball trounced the visiting Tuscola Mountaineers (Waynesville, NC), 10-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Red Raiders now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cherryville for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 28. South Point will clash with a Ironmen team coming off a 6-4 non-league win over West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Ironmen record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Tuscola drops to 1-1 on the year. The Mountaineers host A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC) to clash with the Rockets in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 28. The Rockets go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
