Mt. Carmel Sundevils (San Diego, CA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their lacrosse team achieve victory over the host Grossmont Foothillers (El Cajon, CA), 8-3 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Mt. Carmel advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Sundevils travel to Chaparral (Temecula, CA) to play the Pumas in a non-league game on Friday, March 7. The Pumas come into the game with a record of 2-2.

The Foothillers now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Scripps Ranch for a non-league game on Wednesday, March 26.
