The Piedmont Hills Pirates softball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Westmont Warriors to 0 in the Pirates non-league win on Wednesday.

The Pirates now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Milpitas for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 11. Piedmont Hills will confront a Trojans team coming off a 20-1 non-league loss to Gilroy (Gilroy, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Westmont moves to 0-1 on the season. The Warriors travel to Salinas (Salinas, CA) to confront the Cowboys in a non-league battle on Friday, February 28. The Cowboys come into the battle with a record of 0-0.
