Ascension Christian (Gonzales, LA) fans went home satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their softball team gain a win over the visiting Plaquemine Green Devils (Plaquemine, LA), 16-1 in a non-league battle.

The now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hanson Memorial for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 27. Ascension Christian will confront a Tigers team coming off a 17-1 non-league win over Westgate (New Iberia, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Plaquemine moves to 5-2 on the season. The Green devils travel to Scotlandville (Baton Rouge, LA) to confront the Hornets in a non-league battle on Thursday, February 27. The Hornets come into the battle with a record of 0-0.
