Texas High School Softball - Bryson bested by Nocona

The Nocona Indians triumphed over the visiting Bryson Cowboys softball squad by a count of 34-24 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Indians play the Electra Tigers (Electra, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 27. Nocona will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 4-2 non-league loss to Munday (Munday, TX).

The Cowboys (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lindsay (Lindsay, TX). The Knights enter the 2A Region II District 10 challenge with a 6-5 record. In their last challenge, Lindsay overcame Saint Jo (Saint Jo, TX), 18-0, in a league challenge.
