The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Whitney Wildcats (Cerritos, CA) and the visiting Cabrillo Jaguars (Long Beach, CA), observed Whitney's softball team prevail over Cabrillo by a tally of 13-3.

The Wildcats (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against Anaheim (Anaheim, CA). The Colonists go into the non-league bout with a 4-0 record. In their last bout, Anaheim knocked off Pioneer (Whittier, CA), 4-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Jaguars clash with the Bolsa Grande Matadors (Garden Grove, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 27. Cabrillo will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Matadors go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to Westminster (Westminster, CA).
