In Wednesday's non-league test, the Richland Northeast Cavaliers (Columbia, SC) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Columbia Capitals (Columbia, SC), by a tally of 14-5.
Next, the Cavaliers clash with the Lakewood Gators (Sumter, SC) in a non-league test, on Thursday, March 13. Richland Northeast will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record.
The Capitals (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Aiken (Aiken, SC). The Fighting Green Hornets go into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
