North Carolina High School Softball - Northwest Cabarrus bounces Cox Mill

In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Northwest Cabarrus Trojans softball team scored a nice 19-3 win over the Cox Mill Chargers.
The Trojans (2-0) will now prepare for their match against East Rowan (Salisbury, NC). The Mustangs come into the South Piedmont 3A match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, East Rowan notched a victory over Concord (Concord, NC), 5-1, in a league match.
In their next game, the Chargers battle the Pine Lake Prep Pride (Mooresville, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 28. Cox Mill will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Pride come into the match with a 1-0 record after their 13-2 non-league win over Metrolina Christian Academy (Indian Trail, NC).
