Florida High School Softball - Sickles topped by East Lake

East Lake Eagles (Tarpon Springs, FL) backers left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Sickles Gryphons (Tampa, FL), 11-0 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, East Lake upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Eagles host Middleburg (Middleburg, FL) to play the Broncos in a non-league game on Friday, February 28. The Broncos enter the game with a record of 2-2. Middleburg lost 6-4 in their recent non-league game against Branford (Branford, FL)

The Gryphons now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Plant for a non-league game on Thursday, February 27. Sickles will play a Panthers squad coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to Steinbrenner (Lutz, FL). The Panthers record now stands at 1-2.
