The Fairfax Stampede softball team scored 16 runs and held the host Sierra Linda Bulldogs to 0 in the Stampede non-league win on Wednesday.

The Stampede now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Copper Canyon for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 27. Fairfax will confront a Aztecs team coming off a 21-7 non-league loss to Apollo (Glendale, AZ). The Aztecs record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Sierra Linda moves to 0-1 on the season. The Bulldogs host Westview (Avondale, AZ) to confront the Knights in a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 4. The Knights come into the battle with a record of 1-1. Westview lost 25-0 in their recent non-league battle against Mohave (Bullhead City, AZ)
