The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Venice Gondoliers (Los Angeles, CA) and the host Garfield Bulldogs (Los Angeles, CA), observed Venice's softball team get by Garfield by a tally of 12-5.

The Gondoliers (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against Culver City (Culver City, CA). The Centaurs go into the non-league bout with a 0-4 record. In their last bout, Culver City was routed by Palisades (Pacific Palisades, CA), 10-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Mark Keppel Aztecs (Alhambra, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 28. Garfield will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Aztecs go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 7-6 non-league loss to Cerritos (Cerritos, CA).
