The Torrance Tartars softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Legacy Tigers to 2 in the Tartars non-league win on Wednesday.

The Tartars now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Banning for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 27. Torrance will confront a Pilots team coming off a 8-6 non-league win over Port of Los Angeles (San Pedro, CA). The Pilots record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Legacy moves to 1-2 on the season. The Tigers host Bishop Amat (La Puente, CA) to confront the Lancers in a non-league battle on Friday, February 28. The Lancers come into the battle with a record of 2-2. Bishop Amat won 10-0 in their recent non-league battle against Arcadia (Arcadia, CA)
