California High School Softball - West Ranch drops to Newbury Park

February 26, 2025: Valencia, CA 91381

Newbury Park Panthers (Newbury Park, CA) supporters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad topple the host West Ranch Wildcats (Valencia, CA), 14-3 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Newbury Park improves its record to 5-1 on the year. The Panthers host Simi Valley (Simi Valley, CA) to play the Pioneers in a non-league game on Thursday, February 27. The Pioneers enter the game with a record of 3-1. Simi Valley won 14-3 in their recent non-league game against Dos Pueblos (Goleta, CA)

The Wildcats now hold a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Highland for a non-league game on Saturday, March 1. West Ranch will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 8-6 non-league loss to Burroughs (Burbank, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-4.
