The Cougars now hold a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to United for a non-league test on Saturday, February 28. Crosby will play a Longhorns team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over McAllen (McAllen, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 3-4.

With the defeat, Vela drops to 2-6 on the year. The Sabercats travel to Calallen (Corpus Christi, TX) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league outing on Thursday, February 26. The Wildcats come into the outing with a record of 6-0. Calallen won 14-0 in their recent non-league outing against Weslaco (Weslaco, TX)
