Arizona High School Baseball - Thatcher nudged by Miami

In Thursday's non-league bout, the Miami Vandals (Miami, AZ) baseball squad edged the host Thatcher Eagles (Thatcher, AZ), by a tally of 5-4.

Next up, the Vandals clash with the Safford Bulldogs (Safford, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 27. Miami will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Pusch Ridge Christian Academy (Tucson, AZ).

With the defeat, Thatcher drops to 1-1 on the year. The Eagles travel to Show Low (Show Low, AZ) to encounter the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 3. The Cougars enter the bout with a record of 2-0. Show Low won 13-8 in their recent non-league bout against Morenci (Morenci, AZ)
