Arizona High School Baseball - Willcox holds off Rincon/University

The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Willcox Cowboys (Willcox, AZ) and the visiting Rincon/University Rangers (Tucson, AZ), saw Willcox's baseball team gain a win over Rincon/University by a tally of 5-1.

The Cowboys (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Parkland (El Paso, TX). The Matadors come into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Parkland got by Austin (El Paso, TX), 24-14, in a non-league contest.

The Rangers now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bel Air for a non-league contest on Friday, February 27. Rincon/University will confront a Highlanders squad coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Clint (Clint, TX). The Highlanders record now stands at 5-0.
