Texas High School Softball - Poth bounces Del Rio

In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Poth Pirates softball team scored a tight 8-1 win over the Del Rio Rams.

The Pirates (12-2) will now prepare for their match against Alice (Alice, TX). The Coyotes come into the non-league match with a 3-7 record. In their last match, Alice nipped Wagner (San Antonio, TX), 6-2, in a non-league match.

The Rams now own a 12-7 record. They play next when they travel to Navarro for a non-league game on Thursday, February 26. Del Rio will play a Panthers squad coming off a 26-21 non-league loss to Elgin (Elgin, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 6-5.
