Texas High School Softball - Pine Tree knocked off by Hallsville

In Thursday's non-league test, the Hallsville Bobcats (Hallsville, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Pine Tree Pirates (Longview, TX), by a margin of 15-3.

The Bobcats now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Longview for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 26. Hallsville will encounter a Lobos team coming off a 14-3 non-league loss to Henderson (Henderson, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 8-4.

The Pirates (4-4) will now prepare for their test against New Diana (Diana, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, New Diana was routed by Spring Hill (Longview, TX), 7-5, in a non-league test.
