In Thursday's non-league outing, the Lynbrook Vikings (San Jose, CA) softball team routed the visiting Mt. Pleasant Cardinals (San Jose, CA), by a margin of 21-10.

The Vikings now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Saratoga for a non-league outing on Wednesday, March 4. Lynbrook will encounter a Falcons team coming off a 8-7 non-league win over Prospect (Saratoga, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 1-0.
