Darlington Tigers (Rome, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Coosa Eagles (Rome, GA), 4-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Darlington upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Tigers host Chattooga (Summerville, GA) to battle the Indians in a non-league test on Thursday, March 4. The Indians come into the test with a record of 0-9. Chattooga lost 7-0 in their recent non-league test against Armuchee (Rome, GA)
With the defeat, Coosa falls to 3-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to LaFayette (LaFayette, GA) to battle the Ramblers in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 2. The Ramblers come into the test with a record of 5-2. LaFayette won 5-1 in their recent non-league test against Christian Heritage (Dalton, GA)
