Georgia High School Baseball - Marietta defeats Oglethorpe County

Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Marietta Blue Devils (Marietta, GA) and the visiting Oglethorpe County Patriots (Lexington, GA), saw Marietta's baseball squad knock off Oglethorpe County by a count of 14-9.

Coming up next, the Blue Devils play the Eastside Eagles (Covington, GA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 1. Marietta will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 5-2 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Jackson (Jackson, GA).

The Patriots now possess a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sprayberry for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 27. Oglethorpe County will play a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Marietta (Marietta, GA). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 1-5.
