The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Lawrence County Red Devils (Moulton, AL) and the visiting Auburn Tigers (Auburn, AL), saw Lawrence County's softball squad nip Auburn by a count of 7-4.

The Red Devils now sport a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rogers for a non-league match on Thursday, March 4. Lawrence County will face a Pirates squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Lexington (Lexington, AL). The Pirates record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Auburn falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Central (Phenix City, AL) to face the Red Devils in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 2. The Red Devils enter the match with a record of 10-1. Central won 8-3 in their recent non-league match against Russellville (Russellville, AL)
