Texas High School Softball - Eula bounces Gateway College Preparatory

February 27, 2021: Georgetown, TX 78626

Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Eula Pirates (Clyde, TX) and the host Gateway College Preparatory Gators (Georgetown, TX), witnessed Eula's softball squad prevail over Gateway College Preparatory by a count of 12-1.

The Pirates now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to De Leon for a non-league match on Monday, March 1. Eula will face a Bearcats squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Krum (Krum, TX). The Bearcats record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Gateway College Preparatory moves to 2-2 on the season. The Gators travel to Comfort (Comfort, TX) to face the Bobcats/Deer in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 2. The Bobcats/Deer go into the match with a record of 4-2. Comfort lost 8-6 in their recent non-league match against Flatonia (Flatonia, TX)
