The Westfield School Hornets baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Academy for Classical Education Gryphons to 3 in the Hornets non-league victory on Monday.
The Hornets (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Patrician Academy (Butler, AL). The Saints go into the non-league match with a 0-0 record.
The Gryphons (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Northeast (Macon, GA). The Raiders go into the 2A Area 2 match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Northeast by Wilkinson County (Irwinton, GA), 14-4, in a non-league match.
