In Monday's non-league game, the host Gainesville Red Elephants baseball team scored a tight 8-4 victory over the West Hall Spartans.
The Red Elephants (5-4) will now prepare for their game against Duluth (Duluth, GA). The Wildcats go into the non-league game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Duluth tipped South Gwinnett (Snellville, GA), 13-1, in a non-league game.
The Spartans (0-5) will now prepare for their game against Banks County (Homer, GA). The Leopards go into the non-league game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, Banks County tipped Hart County (Hartwell, GA), 6-4, in a non-league game.
