The Hughes Springs Mustangs (Hughes Springs, TX) baseball trounced the host Pewitt Brahmas (Omaha, TX), 33-4 in Monday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Mustangs encounter the Troup Tigers (Troup, TX) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, March 2. Hughes Springs will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 16-6 non-league win over Chapel Hill (Tyler, TX).
