The Jefferson Independent Day Cavaliers topped the host Rich Hill Tigers basketball team by a final score of 68-58 in Monday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Cavaliers face the St. Elizabeth Hornets (St. Elizabeth, MO) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 3. Jefferson Independent Day will attempt to move on its 21-6 season record. The Hornets enter the game with a 19-10 record after their 49-45 non-league win over Dadeville (Dadeville, MO).
With the defeat, Rich Hill moves to 14-4 on the year.
