In Monday's non-league match, the host Ledyard Colonels basketball team scored a good 58-42 triumph over the Brookfield Bobcats.
In their next game, the Colonels meet the Northwestern Regional Highlanders (Winsted, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, March 2. Ledyard will attempt to improve on its 13-10 season record. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a 19-1 record after their 55-51 league win over Nonnewaug (Woodbury, CT).
