In Monday's non-league outing, the Butler Lynx (Chicago, IL) basketball squad edged the host Fieldcrest Knights (Minonk, IL), by a margin of 59-55.
The Lynx (30-6) will now prepare for their outing against Byron (Byron, IL). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 33-2 record. In their last outing, Byron held off DePaul College Prep (Chicago, IL), 52-45, in a non-league outing.
The Knights now own a 32-4 record.
