Osborne Cardinals (Marietta, GA) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Douglass Astros (Atlanta, GA), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cardinals confront the Clarkston Angoras (Clarkston, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 28. Osborne will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Angoras enter the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 1-0 league loss to Westminster (Atlanta, GA).
The Astros now possess a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sandy Creek for a 3A Area 5 challenge on Friday, March 3. Douglass will confront a Patriots team coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Banneker (College Park, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 2-4.
