Booker Kiowas (Booker, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Perryton Rangers (Perryton, TX), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Kiowas now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Memphis for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 3. Booker will face a Cyclones squad coming off a 7-4 non-league loss to Claude (Claude, TX). The Cyclones record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Perryton falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Rangers host Borger (Borger, TX) to face the Bulldogs in a 4A Region I District 4 challenge on Monday, March 13. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 5-9.
