California High School Softball - Clairemont Helix

In Monday's non-league contest, the Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA) softball team overwhelmed the host Clairemont Chieftains (San Diego, CA), by a margin of 5-0.

With the triumph, Helix moves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Highlanders host Mar Vista (Imperial Beach, CA) to clash with the Mariners in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 28. The Mariners come into the game with a record of 2-0. Mar Vista won 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Mission Vista (Oceanside, CA)

In their next game, the Chieftains clash with the Southwest EC Eagles (El Centro, CA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, February 28. Clairemont will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 2-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over San Ysidro (San Diego, CA).
