The Kellis Cougars softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Sierra Linda Bulldogs to 2 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Kellis moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Cougars travel to Fairfax (Laveen, AZ) to clash with the Stampede in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 28. The Stampede come into the game with a record of 3-1. Fairfax lost 5-3 in their recent non-league game against Northwest Christian (Phoenix, AZ)

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Ironwood Eagles (Glendale, AZ) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 2. Sierra Linda will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 2-0 record after their 8-2 non-league win over Central (Phoenix, AZ).
