Knightdale Knights (Knightdale, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs (Raleigh, NC), 20-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Knights now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host East Wake for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 3. Knightdale will face a Warriors squad coming off a 24-5 non-league loss to Bunn (Bunn, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Southeast Raleigh falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC) to face the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 28. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. Smithfield-Selma lost 19-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Rosewood (Goldsboro, NC)
