Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the St. Mary Tigers (Natchitoches, LA) and the visiting Peabody Warhorses (Alexandria, LA), witnessed St. Mary's softball squad prevail over Peabody by a count of 21-0.
The Tigers now sport a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Loyola College Prep for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 28. St. Mary will face a Flyers squad coming off a 19-1 non-league win over Red River (Coushatta, LA). The Flyers record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, Peabody moves to 0-1 on the season. The Warhorses travel to River Oaks (Monroe, LA) to face the Mustangs in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 7. The Mustangs go into the match with a record of 0-1.
