Pope John Paul II Jaguars (Slidell, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Salmen Spartans (Slidell, LA), 18-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Jaguars now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cabrini for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 28. Pope John Paul II will face a Crescents squad coming off a 16-10 non-league win over Sumner (Kentwood, LA). The Crescents record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Salmen falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Pine (Franklinton, LA) to face the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 3. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
