Arizona High School Softball - Rio Rico thwarted by Sunnyside

The Rio Rico Hawks softball team (Rio Rico, AZ), was routed 14-5 in Monday's non-league test with the visiting Sunnyside Blue Devils (Tucson, AZ)

Next up, the Blue Devils confront the Canyon del Oro Dorados (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, March 1. Sunnyside will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record. The Dorados go into the bout with a 7-1 record after their 6-3 non-league win over Cienega (Vail, AZ).

The Hawks now possess a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Nogales for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 28. Rio Rico will confront a Apaches squad coming off a 14-0 non-league loss to Mountain View (Mesa, AZ). The Apaches record now stands at 0-3.
