Texas High School Softball - Sherman holds off Sulphur Springs

Sherman Bearcats (Sherman, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Sulphur Springs Wildcats (Sulphur Springs, TX), 8-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Bearcats now own a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Side for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 2. Sherman will battle a Steers squad coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Rider (Wichita Falls, TX). The Steers record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Sulphur Springs falls to 11-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Royse City (Royse City, TX) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 4. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 12-1.
