In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Newport Greyhounds baseball team scored a tight 15-14 victory over the Bald Knob Bulldogs.
The Greyhounds (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Heber Springs (Heber Springs, AR). The Panthers go into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Heber Springs was edged by Beebe (Beebe, AR), 9-3, in a non-league game.
The Bulldogs (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Baptist Prep (Little Rock, AR). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Baptist Prep tipped Southwest Christian Academy (Little Rock, AR), 23-3, in a non-league game.
