The Charleston Tigers baseball team scored 17 runs and limited the host Mena Bearcats to 6 in the Tigers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Waldron (Waldron, AR). The Bulldogs go into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Waldron was overwhelmed by Subiaco Academy (Subiaco, AR), 17-7, in a non-league match.
The Bearcats (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Murfreesboro (Murfreesboro, AR). The Rattlers go into the non-league match with a 0-0 record.
