The Dixon Bulldogs baseball team (Holly Ridge, NC), was overwhelmed 4-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing with the visiting Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC)

The Pirates now hold a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Orange for a non-league outing on Monday, March 4. Topsail will face a Panthers team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Morehead (Eden, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.

Next, the Bulldogs face the Southwest Onslow Stallions (Jacksonville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 1. Dixon will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Stallions enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 13-3 non-league win over Northside - Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC).
