Richmond Raiders (Rockingham, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host West Cabarrus Wolverines (Concord, NC), 9-6 in a non-league test.

With the win, Richmond upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Raiders host Southern Lee (Sanford, NC) to battle the Cavaliers in a Sandhills 3A/4A test on Tuesday, March 5. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 1-1.

With the defeat, West Cabarrus falls to 0-2 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to battle the Vikings in a non-league test on Monday, March 11. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 0-1.
