In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Hopkins Royals basketball team scored a decisive 95-71 triumph over the North Community Polars.
In their next game, the Royals meet the Buffalo Bison (Buffalo, MN) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 1. Hopkins will attempt to move on its 20-5 season record. The Bison enter the match with a 12-13 record after their 71-61 non-league win over Minneapolis Southwest (Minneapolis, MN).
With the defeat, North Community moves to 13-10 on the year.
